We've all seen them before, people on the side of the road watching and waiting on the police to show up after an accident has happened. Someone's calling the police while someone else is telling the person(s) involved that everything is going to be alright. It's commonplace and a good thing to do. God knows I would want someone to do that for me if I was in distress. But you know what I would love even more....if someone would pray for me. That brings us to today. I planned on driving up to my dad's house and helping him out with something on his honey-do list. As I headed up the interstate, I noticed cars pulled to the side of the road and smoke rising from something I couldn't see. There were no police or emergency vehicles. Not good. This is what I saw.
By this time more emergency personnel are showing up, some to assist the victim, others to manage the traffic. There's a civilian that jumps out to help. She gets right into the mix, aiding the paramedics and firemen.
Did you see that? The lady praying outside of the fence?
And just like that it was over. I left moved. Touched. By an Angel.
